Six yards of unstitched fabric, loaded with elegance but loads of fuss. That’s all a woman of today feels about sarees—a pleat here, a tuck there, a pin here, a crease there. And despite my deepest urge to drape a saree, it still becomes scary when I try to adorn it while I run short of time. Having more than 100 beautiful sarees in my wardrobe and being an avid saree lover, I still avoid wearing one— reason being, hours of draping time, lots of pre and post care of the garment and too much of chaos!
