She was that Godsent gift I never coveted,
The exemplar of my emotions congregated.
She’s a subtle breeze amidst the brash woods,
A moonbeam appeasing all that’s harsh and rude,
She is the shy glow of my distraught wrinkles,
My meek eyesight’s irresistible twinkle.
The streak of wisdom in my seasoned tresses,
Unlike me, who always wins and impresses.
The happy intonations of my forlorn songs,
The buttress beneath my all right and wrongs.
One of the two reasons of my existence,
A Very Happy Birthday to my li’l Princess!
A Very Happy Birthday to my li’l Baby Anindhya
A ritual I always followed, is to write a poem on each of her birthday!
