Reigning amidst the ‘Disco Diwane’ generation of ‘80s, Denim Dungarees or jumpsuits are back with a bang in fashion scenario of 2015-16. From Nazia Hassan of ‘80s to Alia Bhatt of today, denim dungarees are considered to add a punch of panache to the looks of teens and 20’s. From ankle length to calf length to mid thighs, the varied hemline sizes are available in the stores to suit the style needs of every fashionista.
I have experimented with 2 of my pairs! The calf length one, designed with buttons and strap details is quite a hap pair of dungarees. But my fav featured in this #OOTD is a proper jumpsuit having zip details and with mid-thigh length.
Jumpsuits or dungarees are quite a rage these days or better say they have been ruling the fashion circuit since ages. Nazia Hassan, the teen pop sensation of early ‘80s adorned them and from then only dungarees or jumpsuits became the hot favorite of fashionistas in Indian sub-continent (not to mention globally).
For today’s #OOTD, I have donned my short denim dungarees with a punch of fuchsia pink. All the accessories adorned by me are in proper sync— casual and sporty yet chic and girly. Denims are considered the most suitable material for summers, and that’s the reason behind these dungarees being quite soft, skin-friendly and comfortable for a whole day wear.
Comfort is the key of this #OOTD, that’s why I have opted for the most comfy pair of sneakers for this look. Not to miss out the peppy little details of fuchsia, be it the socks, hat, sunglasses or the bag— pink is playing the lead! Even the hair accessory and watch dial have the same hues. But my favorite one in this look is the denim rucksack (bag) from W for Woman. This, too, has tiny fuchsia prints all over and this versatile bag can be turned into a sling with a beautiful additional strap.
Hope you Symphonites liked my Outfit of today! 🙂 I’ll come up with another denim #OOTD real soon!
