This picture was clicked by my sister from a bridge over River Ganges, a couple of days back. Though it’s just spring season and summers are yet to come, still Ganga is partially dry and a bit lifeless. Despite the river being deficient in water, boats were still sailing. That’s the ‘never say die’ spirit of life.
Beautiful picture and a very apt haiku for it. The show must go on…
Thank you so much Bushra. Glad that you liked it. Yes… life never stops pushing forwards…..
Intense!
Thank you.
Beautiful
Thank you Rupam.
Very apt quote and very nicely expressed! But on a serious note, Ganga drying up is in fact a very serious issue even in West Bengal this time, because of lack of care among people.
You are right Mr. Mukhopadhyay. Ganga, being drying up is a serious issue we are facing, Every where, from Himalayas to the Bay of Bengal, the Ganga is reportedly becoming water-deprived. Glad that you liked the Haiku. Thank you.
Symbolic of Null Desperendum! Never say die! A very beautiful haiku!
Thank you so much Rakesh Ji. Means a lot, when appreciation comes from you.

Thank you so much Mr. Singhal. 🙂
Amazingly beautiful and meaningful!
Thank you so much Mr. Agarwal.
Oh, its a bit sad to know the river is dry. I thought Ganga was a perennial one.. Hope the rains come in soon, heard that the summer is quite hot and dry this time..
Truly Said Vinay. It’s really sad that all our rivers are at the verge of getting dried up. Blame it to the fast pacing life and so called development which have made us selfish enough to neglect nature.
time and tide wait for no man… very well said 🙂
Right Archana. Thanks. 🙂
Wonderful lines (haiku).. Busy Ganaga ghats have their own charm.. So crowded yet you can feel peace of mind..
Yes Anjali. You are absolutely Right. There’s a feeling of tranquility that one cannot get anywhere else. Thank you. 🙂

Life just moves on… no matter what!
Truly said Indrani. Thank you. 🙂
Such a great symbolism of life. Come what may, life goes on… 🙂
