Bipasha Basu and Karan Singh Grover got married yesterday on 30th April. The news spread like fire in the woods about Karan’s third marriage being a key to crave new milestones of success.

Is it money, power or sheer flaunt factor? Why Karan Singh Grover always marries women more successful than him? Is it his mantra for success? Earlier there were Shradha Nigam and Jennifer Winget, not it’s Bipasha Basu. Both his ex-wives were more successful television actresses at that time than him.

Karan Grover & Shraddha Nigam marriage

Karan Grover married Shraddha Nigam in 2008 when she was already a noted T.V. personality having more than 10 serials in her kitty. Karan was a debutante that time craving for fame. He was just 1 serial old while dating with Shraddha. The show with Balaji Telefilms’ Kitni Mast Hai Zindagi aired on MTV India had not given him enough fame and recognition by then. And suddenly, he became the talk-of-the-tinsel-town just by dating and marrying Shraddha, an already famous starlet of tele industry. But since the crust of that marriage was just fame and popularity, they couldn’t make it for long and got divorced in mere 10 months in 2009. And, Karan didn’t stop in his race to fame using women as ladders.

Karan Grover & Jennifer Winget marriage

With his newly grown recognition, Karan Grover signed the popular tele series Dil Mil Gaye aired on Star One in 2007. Later, when Jennifer Winget, an already famous and a well-known face, replaced the lead Shilpa Anand in the series, Karan again tried to encash her fame to his forte. With 13 tele-soaps and shows with leading and promising roles, Jennifer was already a big T.V. star by then and the most aspirant one in the race of entering into the Bollywood clan. But the Casanova cast his spell on her and she accepted his proposal after which they got married on 9th April 2012. Despite knowing his philandering traits, Jennifer thought that Karan would change and stay loyal to her. But, poor she later came to know about his extra-marital affairs with multiple women including his choreographer Nicole in Jhalak Dikhla Jaa Season 3. And finally, this alliance of advantages took a toll on Jennifer and they got divorced in January 2015.

Karan Grover & Bipasha Basu marriage

After 3 unsuccessful relationships, Bipasha was facing traumatic loneliness when she met Karan on the sets of the film Alone in 2015. Vulnerable and emotional Bipasha fell into his charms and couldn’t resist him. They were seen together across the social scenario but refused any kind of such rumors of getting along. Seems Karan’s plans have taken a shape as Bipasha Basu agreed to tie the nuptial cord with him on 30th April, 2016. But the question is who is befooling whom? Or who is taking advantage of the other?

If Bipasha plans a new future seriously with an altogether new person who is younger than him, this alliance has a good future. However, it seems this relationship would go in the way like Karan’s previous weddings which were planned, executed and were even beneficial for Karan but the women in his life were at loss. We wish Bipasha, the newest bride in the tinsel town a good married life ahead and hope this wedding won’t turn out the way Karan’s earlier ones did.

  • Well said. 🙂

  • Saru

I don’t trust those who move in and out of relationships so fast. Every relationship needs work and time. I hope both of them understands that before taking any bold decision, like divorce.

After reading your post, it sure looks like KSG knows how to woo women.

    • Well said Saru. Wish such people could understand the great Indian concept of trying to make marriage work. And KSG, he seems our Indian Casanova. 😉

My dear what’s wrong in giving love another chance? We all make mistakes. Let’s not judge others and just be happy for a couple who looks dotingly in love! 😀 I checked Bipasha’s Instagram and trust me.. These both make you fall in love with the bond they share!

    • I too agree with you on this Bushra. They look damn cute in the pictures. Hope this marriage works. 🙂

  • Purba Chakraborty

I totally agree with each and every point. Anyways, I hope Bipasha is not left heart broken and this marriage works.

I feel you are being too judgmental.. karan and bipasha come across as too in love couple.. i hope this works out well for both of them

  • Wish the best for the newly weds..and a strong marital bond!

  • Hope this relationship stays for lifetime!

  • Come on, why couldn’t he be marrying for love? I mean there is that kind of love too which comes and goes in a hurry. Teenager wala love? More importantly why does it have to be something money, power or flaunt factor. Marrying someone to see if it works out or not and separating when it doesn’t is a very common trend in the west. And, even in higher socio-economic societies in India are very much into the same trend. And if it really was one of those things I don’t see if it has worked out too well for him. Then, why risk the same plan for the third time when it didn’t work previous two times?

    • 3 marriages in 7 years? We Indians even maintain an expensive attire more for than that time.
Well, it’s our own perspective to visualize a situation differently. Trail and error marriage are indeed a trend in West but here in India, there are emotions involved in the marriages as well as in the divorces.
Well, their life their choices, all we can do is just discuss and gossip. But at least we can wish them a successful married life. 🙂
