Sonam’s Transition: From Monotonous Maiden to Peppy Princess!

Sonam’s Transition: From Monotonous Maiden to Peppy Princess!

Sonam Kapoor, the ultimate fashion icon of most of the girls in current times, is the peppy princess of poise and panache. Whether admit or not, most of the fashionists learn fashion from Sonam, who radiates oomph with her chic style and peppy persona. Being one of the feisty actors from the young-and-striking Bollywood brigade, Sonam’s style sense is being recognized with her unique dressing and bold accessorization.

Her transition from real to reel— ‘Saawariya’ was dark, and Sonam’s character in it, that of Sakina, a shy quite girl, whose eyes were always brimming over with melancholy — only added to the grim atmosphere. Not only her role, but also her look in her first movie was quite a colorless one.

And slowly after that, the caterpillar turned into a butterfly and that was her transition from reel to real, from melancholy to bubbly, from flabby to sultry, chubby to sassy, clumsy to classy and pale to peppy.  A simple, girl-next-door kinda girl, turned into glam diva among Bollywood biggies. Though she’s not admired much as a great actor, she’s being worshiped as a style-Goddess among youngsters.

The look she sported in her not-so-talked-about movie ‘Aisha’, was quite a glam in which she showed her haute-couture looks with top-notch interattional designer brands like Gucci, Louis Vuitton, Christian Dior, Prada and what not. Though the film was a miss, but Sonam’s character was surely a hit in terms of her style, class and dressing sense at par.

Her de-glam avatar in Delhi-6 was though a bit traditional yet having that spunk in her. So, we could see those ethnic outfits with adequate dose of jazzy elements. While she was subtle in ‘Bhag Milkha Bhag’, she again stroke back with her peppy part in ‘Khoobsoorat’ and ‘Dolli ki Doli’. In both the movies, her characters were exhilarated with beautiful silhouettes and attractive accessories and both her characters added new facets to her persona.

Again in the year 2015, Sonam once showed her transition from demure diva to a provocative peppy princess. Also, in one of her upcoming movies scheduled to release for 2016 Neerja, Sonam’s look is to be planned quite subtle and sombre while she was much colorful, flamboyant and peppy in ‘Prem Ratan Dhan Payo’.

In Prem Ratan Dhan Payo, she was portrayed an Indian princess who wore multitude of colors, flowing silhouettes and showed her poised and elegance along with a chirpy side. But, the pictures of Neerja again show her dull, realistic and earthen aura.

So Symphonites, if you too feel fashion getting monotonous and monochrome, worry not, just do it ‘The Style Symphony’ way, i.e., the very Sonam way— that is turning yourself into a peppy princess.
