Tête-à-Tête with a Woman: From a Woman to a Woman!

The Style Symphony is all about speaking a woman’s heart. What could be less than Women’s Day to share a woman’s sorrows and happinesses, agonies and ecstasies! On the eve of this Women’s Day, we at  TSS  express our heartfelt decorous emotions of being women to celebrate womanhood. Even our logo evokes a woman’s intrinsic desire of looking beautiful while possessing a soul that is more than beautiful. Hope each of our women readers could associate with it! 🙂

The Style Symphony woman

Here’s how a woman narrates her story of survival since eras…

Eve and forbidden apple
When Eve provoked Adam to taste the ‘forbidden apple’, she was blamed for the destruction of the ‘Garden of Eden’. Though she had to bear the labor pain, her temptation was the sole reason behind this beautiful world and beautiful people. When Sita lusted after the ‘golden deer’, she was abducted and had to tolerate the agony of separation. But her temptation bestowed the mankind a demon free society.

Sita and golden deer

Though, unlike them, I’m a simple ordinary woman, I have the power to create, nurture and protect like them being a daughter, sister, wife, mother and all the more a woman. Why I deserve to live my life with dignity is, because I’m the powerhouse of feelings and emotions and can withstand all the sorrows and happiness, acceptance and rejections, triumphs and failures of life with sheer confidence. I deserve respect because I have the strength that amalgamates judgment, wisdom, truth, knowledge, faithfulness, fertility and love. These gleaming qualities reflect in my intrinsic aura but they never subdue my external beauty and charisma.

Team TSS Woman

I love being a woman as I can live my all the more tough, rigorous and difficult life to the fullest. I know how to handle hurdles, how to deal with troubles and how to face the sorrows of life with a smile. I do not lack in the most vital strength, that is, my independence. I refuse to get suppressed by the stereotypes of this conservative society. I love being a woman, as, I do have the free spirits of a sparrow and the confidence of a tigress. I possess the freedom of speech and the power to say a firm ‘No’ when I feel so. Thus, I love being a woman because I’m a fearless and independent woman of today!

As a woman, I love being pampered. ‘A thing of beauty’ gives me immense joy and I love ‘all things bright and beautiful’. Like Eve, I am attracted towards worldly pleasures and like Sita I love ‘all that glitters’. I love couture clothes, designer jewellery, beautiful bags, branded makeup and all such finery of life. I’m appreciated for my aesthetics. That’s why I want to outshine this world with my panache. I love being a woman because I am she, I am her. I am a woman of substance because I am me! 🙂

To a Woman, For a Woman, By a Woman;
Happy Women’s Day! :’)

Powerful words, just like a woman. She is powerful in every way, she only needs to realise it!
Wishing you a Happy Day and Life as a Woman…..

Women have been put down for ages and now is a time when the world is realising that a balance in power is needed. The objectification of women exists everywhere and women’s day will never be truly meaningful if the leaders of today don’t take charge of the situation.

Rightly said Aparna. But I think its we, the women, who should take the charge first. By educating ourselves and our daughters and by teaching our male population to respect us. If we initiate, the change will surely happen.
Thank you so much for dropping by. 🙂

It seems that male readers are totally ignored for this post. Well, men could also understand women’s feeling, couldn’t they?

Anyway….Happy Women’s Day! 🙂

While celebrating Women’s Day, we turned out to be selfish for a day and forgot men. I think, being selfish, that too for a single day, should be excused. Isn’t it Ravish? 🙂
Anyways…. Thank you thank you so much. 🙂

Happy Women’s Day, Maitreni!
Let’s be ourselves & have the freedom to lead our lives the way we wish.

Nice article, Sangeeta and Maitreni! Happy women’s day to you and all Symphonites 🙂

Such a beautiful post. Loved reading it. A perfect post on the week of Woman’s Day 🙂 <3

A very nice article about women. Salute to the women. Wishing you very happy women’s day.
Cheers 🙂

Nice post. You understand how myths are MAN-made and hence biased against women. Today we have leaders who do the same thing: create a world where women are still objects, commodities… Fight against it using your writing skills. [Sorry if I sound patronising.]

Thank you so much for the appreciation. Will continue doing writing this way in future. And yes, I didn’t find your words patronising at all. In fact they’re quite encouraging. Thanks once again.
