[dropcap]A[/dropcap]ttitude comes from within be it in the portrayal of your personality or in your intrinsic style sense! It is your aplomb with which you carry yourself that reflects your free spirited aura. To manifest our thoughts, the Style Symphony is here with an OOTD post with an amalgam of both the aspects to redefine fashion with a whole new definition. Today’s OOTD incorporates oriental as well as occidental elements into one ensemble to give you the best of both worlds.
I am adorning a wrap around skirt in parrot green hue along with a sequined solid black top. I have complimented the look with striking accessories for a bewitching color block effect. The tote bag along with the broad belt in ‘marsala red’ (Pantone color of the year 2015) and a watch with a similar hued strap brings out a stark contrast with the printed green color pop skirt. The skirt is printed with Japanese Batik inspired print which showcases flora and fauna in vibrant hues.
In order to balance the vibrancy of the look, I have paired it up with a pair of brown suede calf length boots with link chain accents and a pair of black graphic printed socks. Furthermore, I have done this look with a pretty bold makeup that comprises of kohl rimmed smoky eyes balanced with subtle cappuccino matte lips.
Normally people fear to combine Eastern and Western elements in fashion in a casual chic look as sometimes bright hues kill the casual appeal. But, as far as this OOTD is concerned, I am quite confident that playing with vibrancy hasn’t killed the charisma of my casual chic look. So, I dare to go dramatic with this delightfully happy combo for that oh-so-deadly look. 😉
