#dare2drape is a unique blogging concept by the noted ethnic wear brand Triveni Sarees, who called fashion bloggers and fashionistas to accept the challenge of draping a saree in innovative manners. We, at The Style Symphony accepted this challenge and dared to drape a saree in 7 unique ways in 7 weeks. In our #dare2drape challenge series, today we’ll discuss one of our most innovative styles. Till date, we have posted 5 unique draping styles on Triveni as well as on The Style Symphony which are as follows.
- The Anarkali Kurta drape
- The Temple drape
- The Bollywood drape
- The Apsara drape
- The Denim drape
Today The Style Symphony showcases “The Denim Drape” out here featured on Triveni Ethnics website. This drape consists of your favorite pair of denims and the most casual tank-top or crop-top to add the oomph factor to your serene saree. You can drape your classy and subtle sarees in this style for some cocktail event or for an uptown soiree. This style is best for all those girls who love to hangout the whole day in their denims and rush to party right after that. All what they need to carry a lightweight saree in their handbag and they are good to go. This drape takes just 5 minutes too be completed and you can do this anywhere as it’s a no fuss style.
Ever dared draping your saree with your denims? We did it and got that wow look with loads of oomph! A pair of classic denim jeans along with a denim bustier/waistcoat is what completed the look with the hand-painted crepe-de-chine pure silk saree. This lightweight saree is shaded in pastels and earthy colors with a multicolored pallu, hand-painted with floral motifs. We have pleated 1/4th of the saree from the end and tucked it at the center-front of the Levi’s Demi Curve jeans. Also, we have draped the middle portion of the saree around the neck like a scarf, leaving the pallu loose in the front. No draping around the waist is required leaving your denims to rover over for a free leg movement. This draping style is quite casual and can be adorned without any hassle-tassels.
