I am the unreadable between the lines,
The brew to turn you into the finest wines
The strength to push you towards whites
The restraint to stop you step into black with my advice
As I stand the grey between the shades,
To protect you from falling grades
To segregate and drink the venom of water
To inhale the poison that lies in the air or wherever.
To absorb the radiation of the space,
Would readily get burns from fire with solace.
I won’t allow you to step into the black for a while
As I am the grey, the unsung reality of your life!

A tiny Loupe I might be, just hold me once,
And try keeping me always in your accordance,
Curiouser and curiouser? That’s all you need to grasp,
Traverse the Wonderland through me, I’m your Looking-Glass!

PS: The phrases, “Curiouser and curiouser”, “Traverse the Wonderland” and “Through The Looking-Glass” are derived from Lewis Carroll’s books.

Wow! You have a way with words, Sangeetaji! Poetry takes a different and potent shape in your hands! Loved the concept of the unsung effect, which toils in the background, unseen, so that the world can see the glory!

Brilliant Sangeetha, I am big believer in the great areas and the subjectivities of life. The objective aspect keeps life so plain and brings in the judgemental aspect in it which I believe is completely wrong (For once i am being objective here 😀 ). I really like how you have brought this through. Nice one 🙂
