What is hell?
It’s all about living a thousand deaths in a lifetime. Death is inevitable, still we are scared of it and stop living our lives to the fullest due to that fear. I’m not scared of death in spite of discerning its squirming crawl towards me… its rattling cacophony shrieking to my auditory senses.
Death is more glorious than my abyss. I find it luminous enough to enlighten the bottomless pit of the gloom where I reside.
O’ Death! I dare to defy you.
O’ Hell! I’m gonna outlive you.
…a Hindi/Urdu poem (technically a Ghazal), in which I beseech Death!

Bin baaton ki baatein karte ho,
Jhoothon se kyun mujhpar hanste ho?
Mere dard ka hissa ban shayad,
Ek faans si dil me chubhte ho.
Anjaan falaq me door khade,
Fir bhi kyun apne se lagte ho?
Tanha chal padi hoon main ladne
Tum raah pooch kyun aate ho?
Mere dard gulab ki pankhudiyan,
Kaanton se kyun pehre dete ho?
Jaanun main tum hi ho akhiri sach,
Fir bhi kyun jhoothe se lagte ho?
Ashkon ke sang na beh jana,
Kyun in ankhon me rehte ho?
