They say, ‘Age is just a number‘, but I beg to disagree.
“Age is wisdom carved out of time and it never stops you from dreaming“…and I am a dreamer…
Even if the silver of my tresses refuse to be concealed and the sigillum of time on my face refuses to be camouflaged. Even when I have come to an age and finding pleasure in thanking you all for reading these verses written on AGE .
However, the dreamer, the hidden little girl in me still believes in butterflies and flowers… She refuses to grow in this world filled with simulated idiosyncrasies…
So what if I’ve realized that beauty is just a tide on the ample bosom of the ocean and age is the moon, which wanes every day.
So what if I’ve begun to understand the cosmos and mock my own vanity.
So what if I’ve realized that what I’ve held dear hitherto was nothing but a fist of sand!
So what I’ve retained my fist tightly shut, but the sand is long gone, and I was not even aware of.. So, now I look towards the world with my new eyes.
Eyes, strengthened by the loss of those fickle sand, which were the base of those sand castles of my dreams. .
So what if I’ve realized what a fool I was and have seen the world anew.
So what if I have less time than you…
So what if I still believe in my dreams…
I still do….yet, I have realized that time is the greatest adversary which never spares anyone regardless of age, class or creed.
However, dreaming of life becomes hypothetical. Isn’t it?
